When did I get a THE badge?? 😂 You're sweet.

Seriously, the energy between these two characters was just amazing. From start to finish. I was surprised by the end, but then again, I wasn't. I was just super happy. 💜

I admit I lost myself in Josh and Benny. They occupied my head for weeks...(and they are kind enough to visit from time to time!)

So many themes and turns and yet a simple lovely story. Really well done.

Thank you so much 🙏 for both reading and sharing your kind words. I can’t quite believe the response I’ve had from this story... feeling very lucky! Thanks again.

Oh my god, this is beautiful. You did such a wonderful job building up to its both surprising (in all the best ways) and inevitable end. If I didn’t say it on the previous story, I’ll say it here. Glad this project has brought me to your work. ♥️

Beautiful story! You really capture the held-breath feeling of that time, in the immediate aftermath. A sense that the world has changed, but no idea what that means for our individual lives. I loved the details you chose to create that world of directionless young adulthood - especially the music.

Thank you so much for reading, and for taking the time to write such kind feedback - I stressed too much over ‘Wilson’ (9/11 is a difficult subject to navigate) I’m so very very happy it found its feet!

Thank you for writing this beautiful story. With both Wilson annd Cold coffee I felt as if I was the lead character. I really love your writings!

Thank you, I opened Substack this morning and your kind words became one of my favourite birthday gifts! That is the joy of writing in first person, I adore getting under the skin of the narrator. Both the lead characters in Wilson and Cold Coffee have been living my life with me for the past few weeks...

This brought me back to completely different time and place. The chemistry and energy between these two was so palpable. You could really feel the love. Such a beautiful story, from such a dark time. Thank you.

Wow, if these two stories are anywhere near your 'normal' writings I am sold....

Thank you for your very kind words! I’m quite new to writing fiction (started this summer), but I think I’ve found my ‘voice’ through this project. I just love creating characters, and living with them as I write the stories.
